L to R Pete Russell, Pete Hayden and Bill Porritt at Frazerburgh lifeboat station to commorate the 50th anniversary of the loss of 5 crew members of the RNLB "Dutchess of Kent" 21st jan 1970.
On the 15th February 2020 the Choir held a charity presentation evening in the Ship Inn, Marske By The Sea. Monies accumulated over a period of time from sales of our C.Ds and donations given to the Choir were presented to three local charities, who over the years have also been of a great value and assistance to the Choir.
The late Mike Findley's MND Fund.
Mike was an inspiration to all who knew him as he battled the illness and was Mayor of Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council in 2008.
It was Mike who recognised the Choir for it's 40 years of work in the community by awarding the choir with the Freedom Of The Borough.

Marske Silver Band
The Choir, over the years had many associations with Marske Silver Band, performing at concerts together on many occasions.
The band has a major focus on the youth of the area, forming a youth section which specialises in teaching young people to play and improve their ability to play instruments and read music.
The Band is in the process of improving it's band facilities to allow their work to continue into the future.
Two members of the youth section, Amy and Elise, collect a cheque from Bill Porritt.
With a little help from the Choir, we wish them well.
Marske Girl Guides
The Girl Guides in Marske are based in the old Zetland School just off the High Street. It is a listed building and is in need of some refurbishment.
As this building is also used by the Choir for it's practice and recording sessions, we very much wanted to include them in our donations.
